Tony Seaman brings exceptional problem-solving abilities to his position as group sales and marketing director at Attraction World, a ticket broker for theme parks, sightseeing tours, and attractions around the globe. Working in Attraction World’s Birmingham, UK office, Mr. Seaman carries out marketing and business development efforts and oversees ticket sales to more than 5,000 attractions in 32 countries. He also works to maintain relations with the company’s suppliers.
A seasoned professional, Mr. Seaman has acquired more than 20 years of board-level experience in the sales and marketing sectors. Prior to signing on with Attraction World in 2006, he was group marketing director with Macdonald Motels. In addition to serving Holiday Autos for eight years as its managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland, Mr. Seaman held sales and marketing director positions with Forte Hotels and 20th Century Fox.
Mr. Seaman became involved in his profession through his passion for traveling. He started his career in 1980 with the ferry service operator Sealink Stena Line and progressed to head of sales over the course of his 11-year career with the company. He is active in the professional community through his service as chair of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
The keys to his professional success, says Mr. Seaman, have been his work ethic and his integrity. In the future, he hopes to continue to help Attraction World grow its revenues. When he is not directing sales campaigns, Mr. Seaman volunteers his time with the children’s charity Barnardo’s.
