Sue Jensen established her company, Sue Jensen Bookkeeping / Accounting, 11 years ago and has provided top-notch bookkeeping, accounting and consulting services to clients throughout Canada since its inception. An expert in bookkeeping, Ms. Jensen works with clients who own small businesses or are budding entrepreneurs. She also works on accounts, mostly from her home office, and handles companies’ books at their locations.
Prior to establishing her own company, Ms. Jensen gained extensive experience in the industry through working as a bookkeeper and office manager for The Chronometric Company Limited and for Glowing Panes Glassworks. During her tenure with these two companies, Ms. Jensen gained a strong understanding of inventory and payroll processes, bookkeeping and accounting services, as well as purchasing, and account payable and receivable.
Aside from her home-based business, Ms. Jensen is an established artist and horticulturist. In 1999, Ms. Jensen was a featured artist at the Skylight Gallery in Aurora, Ontario, which exhibited her watercolor paintings, and in 2006, she took part in the third annual art show at a local stained glass studio, and was again recognized for her creative talent. For her creativity, she was awarded a prize for the Best Overall Display, and received an Honorable Mention for glass fusing. Ms. Jensen also has been an avid gardener for quite some time and intends to publish a book on the subject.
Ms. Jensen attributes the success she has experienced throughout her 40-year career to her dedication, high standards, providing clean records and paying very close attention to accountants. In the coming years, she would like to expand her income capabilities with multiple streams of income.
Ms. Jensen earned an accounting and computer program degree at the Toronto School of Business, and completed computer courses at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology.
