After working with her father, Annick Jacob was inspired to enter the human resources industry. Today, she is a leader in the industry who is recognized for her knowledge of labor law and organizational development skills. Ms. Jacob lends her expertise and talents to clients at LC Human Resources Consulting and Recruitment Services where she has been serving as a consultant since 2013. In her role, Ms. Jacob is tasked with developing policies and procedures in human resources.
Ms. Jacob possesses many strengths that enable her to excel in the human resources field. She is a driven and results-oriented professional who is always looking out the employees and her employer. She considers herself an HR generalist, which means she is a Jack of all trades who has vast knowledge of all aspects of human resources. Ms. Jacob also gained experience working across a variety of industries. She worked in professional services, retail sales, manufacturing, and transport and warehousing.
Prior to joining LC Human Resources Consulting and Recruitment Services, Ms. Jacob held management and directorial positions in HR. Early in her career, Ms. Jacob worked as the human resources business partner at Sara Lee. Her work taught her how to negotiate and implement group insurance policies, as well as create HR policies regarding employee vacation and attendance. Ms. Jacob then joined Transport Cabano Kingsway Inc. as the HR business partner and worked for the company for two years before joining Reitmans as the regional human resources manager. Ms. Jacob was also the human resources director at Traffic Tech. Throughout her career, Ms. Jacob learned how to develop strong employee relationships, handle performance management, and recruit talent. On multiple occasions she played a role in implementing organizational and operations changes within multinationals.
Ms. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management and personnel administration, with a minor in psychology, at Bishops University. She holds a certificate in law from the Universite de Montreal and is a certified Provincial Human Resources Professional. Ms. Jacob is a member of SHRM.
