Allen E. Brennecke, attorney at Moore, McKibben, Goodman & Lorenz, LLP, has established an illustrious career in the legal industry over the past 53 years. Mr. Brennecke was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1961. He was honored as president of the Iowa State Bar Association and earned the Award of Merit in 1987. He was also named chair of the house of delegates of the American Bar Association. Mr. Brennecke is also admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court Southern District of Iowa, U.S. District Court Northern District of Iowa, U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals 8th Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Brennecke takes great pride in his work and always puts his clients’ needs first. He thoroughly enjoys working with clients while mentoring and training the next generation of lawyers. He also shares his knowledge through his writing. He is the author of “Taxpayers’ Undeveloped Muscle, The Refund Suit,” which appears in 47 Notre Dame Lawyer 304, and is the co-author of “Deferred Sale of Contracts By Cash Basis Farmers,” in the American Bar Association Journal.
Mr. Brennecke earned a JD at The University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in business administration at The University of Iowa. He is a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
