Mr. Venter assumed his current position eight years ago and has garnered a reputation as a strong and fair leader. He excels at consulting and delivering turnkey project solutions for clients in the areas of security, design, engineering, and project management. As CEO, he is responsible for overseeing the management of the company, as well as the focus on security and consulting for clients in the mining sector.
An entrepreneur and business savvy professional, Mr. Venter started his own company when he was 21 years old. He gained experience in running a business, and served as the director of four companies before establishing IES. Mr. Venter was the director of Protech Control & Instrumentation, Sasol Fertilizers and Amplats. Throughout his career, Mr. Venter has done more than 400 projects in South Africa.
He attributes his success to providing quality products and services while maintaining a very high level of customer service to his clients. Looking toward the future, Mr. Venter’s goal is for his company to become the leader in the security industry in South Africa, and develop a footprint and deliver the services to the rest of Africa.
Mr. Venter earned a national diploma in instrumentation and process control, and is affiliated with the South Africa INS, Institute of Directors of South Africa, and PSIRA.
