Ziad Alrawashdeh is the president of ZAK Advisors SARL, a financial and real estate advisory firm that provides a variety of financial and real estate services to clients. Mr. Alrawashdeh has more than 40 years of experience in both commercial and investment banking, as well as a solid base in direct investment and management, and is recognized for his ability to manage corporate portfolios.
Mr. Alrawashdeh started his first career as an employee of one of banks of Jordan. He worked at the bank for a couple of years before he became engaged as regional manager in Abu Dhabi Bank of United Arab Emirates, where he worked for 12 years and six months. Immediately following this position, Mr. Alrawashdeh served as the general manager for Al Ain Corporation of United Arab Emirates. Throughout his illustrious career, he has also served as the manager of projects and the trade finance department, as well as the assistant general manager of operations of Islamic Investment Company of the Gulf in the Bahamas, and vice president of investment and senior executive vice president in Dal-Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust.
The high point of Mr. Alrawashdeh’s career was becoming chief executive officer, a role which he served for Faisal Finance S.A., Geneva of Switzerland for two years and six months starting in March 2000. Afterwards, he was engaged as group chief operating officer for Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust, and he was simultaneously employed as director general of DMI Administrative Services S.A., Geneva from November 1, 2002 until April 30, 2011. Mr. Alrawashdeh has been president of ZAK Advisors Sàrl, Geneva since May 1, 2011. In his role, he advises an international group on real estate portfolios. He also provides clients with financial advice on corporate portfolios and real estate investments.
Mr. Alrawashdeh attributes his success to his dedication, hard work, and most importantly, the support of his family. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue to grow his business into a successful family enterprise.
Mr. Alrawashdeh earned an MBA at The University of Jordan and is an associate of the United Kingdom Accounting Society and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a fellow of the Arab Institute for Banking and Financial Studies and a board member and chairman of the Executive/Audit Committee.
