Inspired by her father, who was involved in sales, Valerie Hayotte made the decision to pursue a career in the field. Today, Ms. Hayotte has 18 years of experience in IT business in various positions, from sales to management. She joined Oracle in April 2007 as a sales executive and worked her way up to sales senior manager. In 2013, she assumed her current role.
Ms. Hayotte is recognized throughout the company for her sales and change management skills and team leadership abilities. Her position calls for her to encourage high levels of performance and innovation, maintain involvement in excellence programs and quality management, and lead a sales team comprised of 13 employees in the “Oracle Best of Breed Services” organization. Ms. Hayotte takes great pride in her work and always ensures she delivers high-quality customer service.
Prior to joining Oracle, Ms. Hayotte worked at IBM for 10 years. She served as the company’s business development manager and software sales representative. Ms. Hayotte was also a channel sales representative at Lotus Development and a PA of the CEO and sales assistant manager at Wincap Software.
Committed to and promoting high levels of performance and innovation, Ms. Hayotte attributes her success to maintaining her personal commitment, as well as her skills in leadership and sales management.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in international management and negotiation, and a higher national diploma in international business. She also holds a level 5 certificate in management and leadership through the Chartered Management Institute.
