With a passion for adventure and the outdoors, David Pinel started working for West Coast Expeditions in 1997 as the lead guide and operations manager and, in 2008, he became the co-owner. West Coast Expeditions explores the beauty of Canada through offering customers a wide range of sea kayaking tours and wilderness retreats.

Mr. Pinel is recognized and well-respected for his knowledge of coastal ecology, wilderness etiquette and sea kayak instruction, which enables customers to learn about their surroundings while staying safe. His knowledge and experience also allow him to forge lasting relationships with aboriginal communities and develop key industry partnerships. Mr. Pinel takes his job very seriously and is dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality services. In his position, he is responsible for handling the company’s finances and operations, as well as overseeing community relations, industry relations, and program development and delivery.
